Looking for a creative and fun way to express thoughts, behaviors, and feelings? Our goal at Hunter Therapy Family Counseling is to create a safe and playful environment to heal from change, prolonged stress, grief and loss and trauma. Art therapy can be an alternative to traditional talk therapy. We offer a wide range of activities, including art therapy, painting, sand trays, sports psychology, jewelry, and gardening. Each session is designed to meet your child's needs and build healthy coping skills and a strong emotional foundation.
Experience the difference of therapy outside in nature. The garden is a great space for children and adults to move around and find a peaceful place to reflect and be creative. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues, or burnout we have a range of creative ways to help manage daily life stressors. Our goal is for you and your family to achieve a happier, healthier, and brighter future.

Each family and child has different with special needs. Therapy is designed to meet families needs.
Mother's Support Group
Weekly Support Group
Over the last 20 years of working child children. I have found the ones that need the most support are mothers. We need a place to talk about the daily struggles of parenting, taking care of the home, working raising emotionally balanced children, while maintaining our own serenity.
We meet once a week and focus on a new topic each week, such as tips on improving communication, managing behaviors, anxiety, social skills and building self-esteem.

Creative Open Art Studio
Open Art Studio: Unleash Your Creativity
If you're a creative person or want more creativity in your life. Join us in the garden to relax and create art. You can start a new project or work on something you want to finish but feel stuck. Most supplies are available, such as paint, journals, draw, paint, collages, or sand tray. We will start with a guided meditation and members can find a spot in the garden or stay cozy inside. Any artwork can be processed in the last 30 mins. Individual sessions are also available with a board-certified art therapist and marriage and family therapist.
