At Hunter Therapy Family Counseling, our mission is to provide families with a welcoming and compassionate environment to discuss and address their mental health concerns. Dr. (h.d.) Lauryn Hunter ATR-BC, LMFT, is an award-winning board-certified art therapist and international speaker. With many years of experience helping children around the world, Dr. Hunter has received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism for her remarkable achievements. 

Lauryn is the director of the GSFE: Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs, Youth Network. The goal for this youth leadership program is to help middle and high school girls become active members in their community while developing life skills.

The GSFE youth network promotes leadership, community service and teaching a business mindset.

Inspiring young women to be educated, understand the Wisdom of Power and how to become our next generation of world leaders.
 
Lauryn Hunter is a mental health supervisor with the Cedars-Sinai: Share and Care program and facilitates art therapy groups for students grades K-12 in Los Angeles schools. 
Lauryn has been instrumental in creating curriculums for parent workshops and teacher trainings. These workshops address a variety of topics such as self-esteem, social skills, anger management as well as school-wide programs on bullying, leadership, and acts of kindness.

In addition Lauryn Hunter is a international published  author and been an adjunct faculty member at Alliant International University, Antioch University and Philips Graduate Institute teaching core curriculum courses for their Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) graduate/doctoral programs.
